MUSCLE OVER MOTIVATION

Being inspired to work out doesn't make it any more effective. In fact, working out when we don't want to is how we get mentally tough.


It's okay to give yourself a break sometimes, but it's important to also know when you just need to give yourself a pep talk and get to work.


Sometimes the best way to start when you're stalling is to get in the zone.
Get dressed to workout, turn on the music, start moving - anything is better than nothing and most times you'll end up doing more than you expected.

I often negotiate the terms of a workout before I get started, just to concede to the original plan. 😝
