MY BODY KNOWS WHAT’S BEST FOR MY HEALTH AND WELL-BEING

Updated: Nov 28, 2022

Affirmations can change how you navigate and see the world. “MY BODY KNOWS WHAT’S BEST FOR MY HEALTH AND WELL-BEING” is one of my favorites.

I love this affirmation because it gets us out of our head.

It means paying attention to how you feel in your body rather than ruminating over thoughts.

It can also mean letting your body tell you what to run and eat.

There is a time and place for the mind to control the body. And during a race we rely on one to step up when the other is weak. We can more easily do the same in real life if we intentionally practice prioritizing one over the other from time to time.

Anxiety and/or depression can be mentally exhausting! Give your mind a rest and instead focus on the sensations in your body. Spending a few minutes feeling the discomfort physically can help us control our emotions.

I guess that’s why exercising is so important for mental health. It teaches us to put our body before our brain.

I’m speaking from personal experience and what works for me. I share what I’ve learned through reading and my own therapy. I think I know a lot because I’ve been through a lot, and I’m passionate about personal growth and development.

How you use this and any information you receive is up to you.

We can learn a lot from each other but YOU make the rules! You are in charge of your well-being, and your happiness.

How much do you rely on mental strength during the day vs listening to your body?
