This program is designed for anyone who wants to complete a half or full marathon this spring. It is recommended that you can run 3-4 miles at at time for half marathon training and 7-8 miles at a time for marathon training by the start date of this program. The program includes an introductory and post-race meeting. Members will be provided a 16-week training schedule with optional weekly virtual group check-in & info sessions. **Access to training plan via Final Surge so you have access online or on your phone and daily email reminders of workouts from Final Surge.** The goal is any Full or Half-Marathon on or around April 23rd! Find yours here: https://www.runningintheusa.com/race/find-by-state/ If you want the flexibility to work out on your own but are motivated by helping others, accomplishing goals in a supportive community, and want weekly tips from a certified running coach this is for you! The training plans are the same for everyone (depending on 1/2 or full) and weekly check-ins are done so we can support each other and connect over successes and failures (the natural ups and downs of the process). If you know others who may be interested, this is a great experience to do with friends! But it's also a great way to join a new community. My primary role is to provide a training plan for the group, educate you on the topic of the week, and facilitate meetings. However, group members who have specific questions about their training can schedule private sessions with me for an additional fee if needed.
